In this part we conclude getting an overview of the digital platform and its various components. the “Schematic” window which is used to view the basic outline of our circuit and it constituents then comes the “Grapher” window which enables us to analyse the various parameters of the circuit in a graphical manner then we have the “Split” window which gives us a view of both the Schematic and Grapher window simultaneously. Now we have three options to transform our main window i.e.
AC and DC sources.Then we have the “Passive” which contains the various common circuit elements such as resistor,capacitor,inductor, potentiometer,fuse.Next comes the”Analog” which constitutes the analog electrical components.Then we have the “Diodes” and the “Transistors” menu respectively.Then next comes the “Indicators” which contains all the visual electrical components.Next we have the “Switches” ”Modeling Blocks” ”Electromechanical” ”Power” tabs respectively.Then we have the “Digital” components containing the logic gates.The upper right hand side of the window we have the Full Screen option and the Help option.
Now, we’re gonna start our discussion on the various components which we can access in the online version of Multisim.Starting from the top we have the ‘Analysis and Annotation’ tab.It contains the voltmeter,ammeter,we also have the option to add text annotations.Then next we have the “Schematic Connectors” which contains the ground source, connector, junction.The next comes the “Sources” which encompasses all the sources of electrical potential i.e. The upper right hand side has the configuration pane, this menu can be accessed to change the existing properties of the selected components.Under the configuration menu we have the zoom “IN” and zoom “OUT” option, it can be used to zoom in or out the central grid.
The upper left hand side also has the “RUN SIMULATION” option which runs the simulation of the existing circuit. The left hand side of the window has the tool bar which contains all the electrical instruments,components,digital and analog components.The upper left hand corner contains the file navigation menu.The screen is of a grid type interface which is used as the building platform on which the components can be placed. Multisim is a digital platform developed by National Instruments Corporation.It is used to develop and stimulate electronic circuits digitally.It can resolve complex circuit components easily.
